I’m a 25-year-old male based in the CST time zone, and I’ve been roleplaying off and on for a few years now. I’m currently looking for a new partner to dive into a romantic, slice-of-life roleplay. I’m open to writing with anyone — female partners are preferred, but male writers are alright too. The only thing I ask is that all partners and characters be 18+ — I’m not comfortable writing with or about minors.
I’ve got a whole list of roles and scenarios we can play with, and I’m totally down to mix and match or hear any ideas you might have too. I’m sure we can build a story and character dynamic that clicks for both of us!

plot:
i want to do a modern/slice of life rp with a supernatural twist... character 1 is down on their luck and is looking for a roommate. they find a ridiculously cheap listing, and even though it's suspicious, they decide to apply anyway. the roommate has strange habits, like being completely nocturnal, and has rules about where character 1 is allowed to go. their apartment is also full of really really old furniture and decor, and they seem confused about a lot of normal modern things, but they are otherwise a good person.slowly (or right when they meet) they develop a crush on one another. however, character 1 realises (either over time, or suddenly) that character 2 is a vampire, that secretly gets blood from the blood bank! i want to explore a vampire x human dynamic, and how an ancient vampire would navigate modern life.
idm who plays the vampire, either you or me is ok. we can discuss what kind of vampire rules we will follow as well. i like making oc's together, to make sure it's a good ship. i'm flexible on looks and personality (as long as i feel it's someone i could realistically play)

The story would end on a tragic note with the wife eventually passing away.

They can only see each other from a distance, speak through a window, or exchange letters, unable to hold each other even when they need it most. As the illness worsens, they try to stay strong while knowing each meeting could be their last.

I would like to write as an (OC) bounty hunter/mercenary that is only just barely getting by; somebody who can do their job, and fairly well, but seems to always get unlucky in one way or another that screws them over.
I would be interested in shoving this bounty hunter/mercenary into a political plot that sees them doing something greater than picking up wanted criminals.
I am extremely open to any ideas you might have.I am looking for a GM, if any would be willing to do that. I am happy to contribute to worldbuilding and the structuring and progression of plots, but would prefer to primarily play a "main" character for most plots - I'd be open to playing different characters for little side adventures, or alternative stories.
The time period is negotiable, but I have a preference for the era of the Galactic Civil War or the Old Republic, with a lean for the Galactic Civil War era.

I wish to share in a tale of stolen glances, ballroom drama, and drawing-room intrigue. Allow your imaginations of romances forbidden by status, wealth or circumstance to flow freely; of gallant gentlemen and elegant ladies engaged in conversations brimming with wit and charm.
It is my wish to find a partner most similar to myself in both style and opinion. If you should find yourself writing multiple paragraphs, then I might be so bold to say we will have a most splendid time. I find myself entering my twenty-third year and would very much appreciate a partner of similar living experience, and at the very least no younger than one-and-twenty.
In good conscience, however, I must admit to my own flaws as a partner so that no undue expectations may be created. My name is Magpie (17M) and I'm CRAVING some Jojo's Bizarre Adventure roleplay rn. I have only had a few years of roleplay experience (and took a pretty big hiatus) but I really wanna roleplay more for fun and to hone my writer skills :D I'm semi lit. to literate and a non native English speaker, though that mostly just comes in the way of different expression. (I use a lot of inversion, for example)

So anyway, what I had in mind for the plot is that our characters first meet as enemies and after a fight decide to journey together and help each other solve their problems. This world has a small percentage of people who are “mutants,” aka those with some form of powers. These people are quite discriminated against, as people see them as dangerous (M/C will be a mutant but hides it, Y/C can either be the same, not a mutant, or descend from mutants but are not one themself). To add onto this, Y/C & M/C are both heroes/vigilantes (respectively). Y/C likes M/C’s “vigilante” version while M/C likes Y/C’s “civilian” version. Neither realizes that it’s each other!

Hi, hi, everyone! I'm a 26 year old woman searching for a partner (18+) who shares my love of cat and mouse games and clever mind games to join me along in a story featuring a renowned detective and an exceptionally intelligent woman who stumbles across a supernatural murder weapon.
Both too stubborn to give up on their chase and constantly trying to lure the other into a trap. The killer going as far as to infiltrate the police and work on the case alongside her. A constant back and forth and all the romantic tension that comes along with it.
This is not a fandom roleplay but Death Note is an excellent example of what I'm looking for here and a big inspiration behind the idea.
It also serves as a great example of what I'd like the killer's power to be. Something that is beholden to many rules but is near untraceable if used carefully. Whether her motives be large or purely self-indulgent (Other great examples are Lelouch's geass or the Jigoku Tsushin from Hell Girl. I'd also be down to modify any of these three for our use if that interests you!) Maybe if she learns someone's deepest fear, they will have a nightmare and die the following night? Maybe she possesses the ability to pass her consciousness into the body of anyone she has ever touched? Or anything else we can think of!
I am more than happy to play either of these main characters. (Though, slightly partial to the detective!) So, if that interests you and you're the type of person willing to help build a complex web of rules and come up with plenty of clever tricks, please feel free to shoot me a message!
