PST.,I'm looking for a long-term writing partner interested in character-driven stories and complex relationships. The dynamics are usually what pull me in first. The plot matters, but the characters and the way they affect one another are always the heart of the story for me.
I enjoy stories that take their time developing. Slow-burn connections, emotional tension, complicated feelings, conflicting motivations, and relationships that evolve naturally over time. I like exploring the messy parts of human nature and watching characters become deeply entangled in one another's lives for better or worse.
Whether the setting is modern, fantasy (I struggle with high fantasy, so I tend to avoid it, but don't mind low fantasy), supernatural, historical, political, or something entirely different, I'm usually drawn to stories that leave room for strong character development, emotional investment, and plenty of opportunities for drama.

The Plot — Moscow, 1978
A disciplined 39 year old Soviet officer is ordered to investigate clandestine gatherings hosted by a charismatic 33 year old man. In his apartment, artists and intellectuals exchange censored literature and speak more freely than they can in public.
The officer starts attending undercover, unaware that his host already knows exactly who he is. Rather than exposing him, the younger man draws him into a game of teasing, suspicion, and unexpected closeness. What begins as surveillance becomes a dangerous attraction, forcing the officer to question his loyalty to the State and the life he's spent decades building.
I'm looking for a slow-burn M/M romance grounded in Soviet daily life, with political tension, mature characters, difficult choices, tenderness, and emotional conflict.
My Preferences
I love planning our characters and setting together before letting the story unfold naturally. NSFW is welcome, but plot and character development matter just as much. I'm not interested in mafia, organized crime, or gratuitous dark romance.
I write multiple characters, but the central couple is always two men. My main character is generally middle aged, and I use actor face claims; no anime, drawings, AI faces, or excessively young looking FCs.
English isn't my first language, so I sometimes take extra time to revise my replies. I usually write 300–400 words, though I can write longer when needed.

Looking for a WW2 MXM slow burn and I need the right person for it. Muse A is an American soldier on his third war, hardened and aggressive and mean around the edges but the kind of man who has never once stopped fighting to bring his people home. Muse B is a French resistance medic, soft where it counts and fierce when it matters. They meet. Muse B becomes the designated medic for Muse A's platoon. Everything gets complicated from there. This will be high stakes, historically inspired, full of blood and loss and PTSD and two people slowly and painfully finding something worth surviving for in each other. This is a long-term group rp server based around tang & Qing dynasty clothing & regulations, mostly focused on the succession , lives and politics around the princes, princesses, nobility and our lively group of dowagers, a murder mystery and sort of slice of life. Here, you can do 1x1 rps,group rps and I'll also be hosting some major events for the plot progress in between.

Good morning. I'm a 24 year old American Male named Kal, who is looking for a psuedo-long term roleplay partner who is interested in detailed, passionate, meaningful roleplay.
I prefer slow burning, natural romance, and don't write smut. This is a hard line for me. I'll happily do intimacy, but that's about it.
I love enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, and most angsty, dramatic love stories.
