A gentleman's Request. Regency Romance Roleplay.
A most humble and warm greetings to any whom may find themselves reading this.
I, dear reader, find myself in need of a companion to create a literate and engaging story set in the Georgian or regency period of English high society. I wish to share in a tale of stolen glances, ballroom drama, and drawing-room intrigue. Allow your imaginations of romances forbidden by status, wealth or circumstance to flow freely; of gallant gentlemen and elegant ladies engaged in conversations brimming with wit and charm.
It is my wish to find a partner most similar to myself in both style and opinion. If you should find yourself writing multiple paragraphs, then I might be so bold to say we will have a most splendid time. I find myself entering my twenty-third year and would very much appreciate a partner of similar living experience, and at the very least no younger than one-and-twenty.
In good conscience, however, I must admit to my own flaws as a partner so that no undue expectations may be created. Outside of my paper and quill I lead a most engaging and fatiguing existence so that I find little time to write, or even to converse out of character. Replies will be slow likely only once or twice in a week, but I will promise they shall be as thoughtful engaging as I am able. I expect no more from any partner, and even weeks long inactivity shall not dissuade this most persistent of writers.
I eagerly await your response, dear reader, and should this prompt be discovered in a time distant from when this letter be delivered, do not be dissuaded in reaching out.
