    I’m David, M, pst. I been looking for a Percy Jackson universe inspired / Greek Demigods in modern times roleplay for a while now. I am not looking for a 1:1 of the universe but we can use it as a general framework to build our setting

    The idea: first, I am afraid that it may sound a little “railroad-ie” but all of these are just suggestions and ideas, I want my partner to have say in absolutely everything especially the overall plot, to come up with their own plots points, and to shape the world to a common liking. All characters will be 18+ with them joining the camp after turning 18. As a very lose framework I am thinking:

    • your character is recruited into the camp and my character takes her under his wind initially, showing her around and explaining the rules, all that stuff.
    • She grows into herself and even goes into quests with my character and they get closer.
    • After feelings are developed, I have a plot twist in mind, I am happy to share it or keep it secret, whatever you prefer, but it will be a center of drama, conflict, and character growth for both of our characters!
    • I would like a major conflict to revolve around her and growth more and more powerful. I have some ideas!
    • The final conflict would revolve around our characters together.

    Again this is just a very lose framework, prototype v.0.0.01 everything is up to discussion. I know I’m putting a lot of emphasis on my partner’s character so your input and development would be super ideal! I’m hoping for a lot of fun action, angsts, drama, romance, maybe even loss

    My post length is very dependent of the scene, if they are having an intimate conversation that requires back and forth it might be a paragraph, if it’s proper to describe an event, or a new setting it may be 5+.

    I can write in 1st or 3rd person. I tend to prefer 1st but for this plot either would work just as well

    I am a working professional so I can’t reply all day everyday, but I can guarantee a minimum of 3 solid replies a day

    I want to give fair warning right away that I plan to feature various intense elements containing possibly triggering, NSFW, and other unpleasant themes to create a world that is brutal, cold, and unforgiving.

    Heyo! I'm Kres and I've been roleplaying for quite a while.

    My primary interest is on romance in a slice-of-life premise that focuses largely on the two main characters. Their chemistry and life happening around them. Their complicated and tangled emotions and life. Simple random encounters, arranged marriages, fate entwined, socially engineered, etc. Time periods and settings can vary greatly. Anything from modern, medieval, gilded era, dark ages, futuristic, alternate realities, etc. I'm extremely into the chemistry of two characters usually more than a wildly elegant setup.

    I write male and female characters and am very comfortable with many personality archtypes on either side. Partner's real life gender doesn't matter to me, we can be friends all the same if you want. I have different OCs I can fit to roleplays, and I'm always happy to create a new one! I will generally never play a canon character myself unless the offer is extremely interesting to me. My characters are always fairly grounded in realism even if they fit a power role or are part of a fantasy world and I'd prefer the same in return.

    Offering and expectations:

    ╠ Third person, past or present tense.
    ╠ Two to ten paragraph posts.
    ╠ Communication about what is liked and disliked.

    Mira looked out her window, watching the distant coastline burn as King Kasir's ships sent flaming arrows onto the fishermen's huts. Her kingdom, Rivanne, was not worth much in the grand scheme of things. Kasir wanted the entire continent but there were better places to begin. What could he possibly want?

    She watched as her Generals responded with the first of many flaming pitches. And as the weapon made it's way to the ships, she felt something. A familiar energy emanating from afar. And the weapon just.....disappeared.

    Her eyes widened. She stood up, "He's here for me", she whispered.

    "What?", asked Shira, her handmaiden.

    "You have to hide away your magic, Mira", her mother had told her, "It is not the rare and precious gift they make it seem in stories. It is a curse. An affliction"

    "I must warn Faiz", she ran out, sensing the magic getting closer. How!?, she wondered as she made her way to her fiance, her father's most trusted General.

    Before she could say a word, the world went dark.

    "Can you hear me, Princess?", she heard a faint voice from a distance. Her eyes opened. She was laying down on her bed. But it felt.... different.

    "Who are you?", she quickly sat up, "Where....where am I?"

    "You're in Baskir", said the older woman.

    Looking for someone to play Kasir, a talented, ruthless Emperor with magical powers. They live in a world where it's rare for anyone to have such powers and most of those who do, hide it in shame. Kasir is proud of it. He could sense Mira's magic from across the oceans. Something about it called to him.

    I wish for them to have undeniable chemistry but incompatible ideologies. He is a warmonger, hungry for power and victory, ruthless, a bit sexist and barbaric in his ways (lack of a noble upbringing). She is soft and kind, ashamed of her affliction, proper, chaste.

I am 26, female, fairly active daily, very friendly (if a slight introvert) and average around 1250~ characters in length, but otherwise mostly mirror with a preference for literate/semi-literate. No minors, no one-lining.     • Semi-lit to lit. I don't enjoy writing multiple large paragraphs but I'm also not going to leave you hanging on a one-liner.
    • Active! I'm on frequently. Caveat to that: my MIL is medically complex and there are times now and again that I won't be on for a few days while I'm taking care of her.

    What I'd like in a partner:

    • Good grammar IC. This one is non-negotiable. Consistent run-ons, misspellings, and a lack of capitalization and punctuation make it really hard for my brain to parse things. (Obviously we're not all perfect all the time and the occasional typo or missing punctuation mark is totally fine. And OOC, I couldn't care less)
    • Relatively active. At least one or two responses a day would be amazing.
    • Negotiable, but nice: on at the same times I am. I keep a weird schedule and I'm often up until 6 or 7am.

    RP Stuff:

    • I enjoy whump! If you don't like angst, I am not the RP partner for you.
    • Romance is nice, but not necessary. I usually write FxF or MxF, but I do have a few male characters as well and MxM is fun too.
    • Military, sci-fi/fantasy, dystopias, and post-apocalyptic are some of my favorite genres, but there's a lot I'll write.
    • I'd love someone I could plot with. I have a few vague bunnies running around but I love working things out with my partner vs just coming in with a fully-fleshed plot.

    I write in third person POV, literate+, and usually to the Discord limit. I only write romance role plays, but have several plot ideas currently! Other genres I add to my romance role plays include: supernatural, fantasy, royalty, slice of life, drama, etc… I have no triggers so I am also open to dark themes.
