Fourth Wing (Empyrean) roleplay ads

Fourth Wing is the first book in Rebecca Yarros's Empyrean series, the 2023 romantic fantasy that became a BookTok phenomenon. Violet Sorrengail trained her whole life to become a scribe, but her mother, the general who commands Basgiath War College, orders her into the Riders Quadrant to become a dragon rider. Cadets there are expected to die, dragons choose who they bond with, and bonded riders gain a magical power called a signet. Violet has to survive brutal training, rivals who want her dead, and Xaden Riorson, a powerful rider whose father was executed by her mother.

Romantasy roleplays love this setting: a deadly war college, dragons with their own personalities, rivals-to-lovers tension and secrets about the kingdom of Navarre. Writers create their own cadets and dragons, put them through Threshing and war games, or reimagine Violet and Xaden's story.

[F4M] My Mate Bond Led Me to the Villain

Hi there! I’m 29, CDT, and female!

Message me with your age, timezone, and a sample of your writing if you’re interested!

Partner requirements: must be 20 to 38 years. Must play male- write in third person - 2 or 3 paragraphs average- SFW ONLY- must be able to post a few times a week - good grammar and punctuation - NO AI.

When Hazel Dreadwood was born she was already destined for great things. A brilliant healer from birth and one meant to be by the side of the prince. She was beautiful, smart, and wonderfully skilled. A great pairing for the prince, the heir to the kingdom of Arcadia. Someone that could be by his side all the time whether at the palace doing his diplomatic duties with the royal court, visiting allied kingdoms, or out on the battlefield for his protection.

The latter is where they were now. A battle that had been raging on for nearly a year now. One that had heavy consequences, responsible for many deaths, and so much more. Both sides had their armies filled with goblins, trolls, and other monsters. Even dragons soared up above them. (The reason for the war is something we can decide on together. Is it over land? A resource? Magic?)

She’s running through the battlefield after being separated from her prince. The mate bond is strong and she thinks it’s guiding her towards him. She can feel it growing strong the closer that she gets until she’s knocked down by a troll looming over her with his club raised.

This where your character comes in saving her from the troll. He’s the ‘villain’ of this story, the exact opposite of the prince she’s looking for. However, their mate bonds have led the two to each other, both of them feeling the burning sensation when they find themselves near the other. He’s dark, mysterious, and seemingly cruel. Thinking Rhysand from ACOTAR, Xaden from Fourth Wing vibes. Seen as a monster, but a protector of his kingdom and people.

Hiya! I’m an adv-lit roleplayer and for now, I mostly have a vibe in mind. I want angst- yearning, possibly even something forbidden. I enjoy depth and complex characters.
There’s gotta be something more than romance, though! I, honestly, am easily bored with romance or slice-of-life plots.
I’m also down for something platonic or with a pre-established relationship!

I have a few starting points that we could build around! But my preference for pairing would be BxB.
    Possibilities:

    • dragon riders (fourth wing inspired?)
    • Western/cowboys?
    • knight/royal/medieval?
    • Doctors/co-workers?
    • anything you can think of? I’m open to hearing anything you have in mind!

If any of this interests you at all, please check out the rest of my info! There is a writing sample there too. If all of that checks out? Feel free to go ahead and DM me!

Hey all! I've got a 18+ server in mind that I want to get off the ground. Its like Fourth Wing but I've expanded it a little more to include other species to bond (griffins, pegasi and direbeasts like tigers, bears and wolves) and changed the system a bit. I would love to get some staff to help me build it and maintain it 🙂
    Please DM me if interested

    Heyy!!
I have become somewhat re-inspired by threshing day… (which I’m still reading!) so I’m looking for something with dragon riders!
I have a fourth wing OC that I’d love to use

We can decide plot-specifics together! But thinking some time after they’re already bonded/have signets.

If we’re going with romance, BxB would be my preference! But this isn’t mandatory. My OC is male.

I am an advanced lit-novella role player who enjoys detail! I lean towards all things dark and gritty - but not nsfw. It’s not my thing.

Please please check out my rules wiki first before contacting me! But once you’ve done so, you’re more than welcome to message me directly < 3

    COME AT ME, OLD PEOPLE!

I'm a 35+ female writer with over twenty years of experience. Got my creative writing start on Neopets! I adore the enemies to lovers trope, action, drama and headcannoning / plotting ooc. Writing sample here

    ✨ ✨ ✨

    Looking for:
    25+
    3rd person past tense
    Mxf pairings
    Beautiful writing and flawed characters.

    Plot ideas:

🦇 Vampire x hunter (or other supernatural)
A vampire and a hunter form an uneasy alliance to dismantle a rogue coven running a secret blood farm. The farm risks exposing the supernatural world in a modern era where secrecy is more fragile than ever.

🐉 Dragon riders (fourth wing esq)
Two petty young kings have entered a war of vanity. Forstved, a bleak island outpost holds a position of strategic significance. Soldiers here are expendable and six commanders have been murdered in just as many months.

👑 Warring kingdoms, arranged marriage (low fantasy)
Two kingdoms have been locked in a war for generations. With change afoot, peace suddenly becomes a mandatory requirement of survival. Two high tier royals must marry - but both have been actively involved in the war and hatred runs deep.

    • Options / ideas: Modernise into crime families. Royal x bodyguard.

Nothing take your fancy? Bring me yours!

Please send me a writing sample when you message. :)
