Alan Wake is Remedy Entertainment's psychological thriller series: the 2010 game and its 2023 survival horror sequel, Alan Wake 2. Bestselling crime novelist Alan Wake, stuck with writer's block, travels with his wife Alice to the small town of Bright Falls, Washington, where she vanishes into Cauldron Lake. Soon the pages of a novel he can't remember writing start coming true, and shadowy beings he can only fight with light close in.
