I'm looking for a long-term writing partner interested in character-driven stories and complex relationships. The dynamics are usually what pull me in first. The plot matters, but the characters and the way they affect one another are always the heart of the story for me.

I enjoy stories that take their time developing. Slow-burn connections, emotional tension, complicated feelings, conflicting motivations, and relationships that evolve naturally over time. I like exploring the messy parts of human nature and watching characters become deeply entangled in one another's lives for better or worse.

Whether the setting is modern, fantasy (I struggle with high fantasy, so I tend to avoid it, but don't mind low fantasy), supernatural, historical, political, or something entirely different, I'm usually drawn to stories that leave room for strong character development, emotional investment, and plenty of opportunities for drama.

Heyo! I'm Kres and I've been roleplaying for quite a while.

My primary interest is on romance in a slice-of-life premise that focuses largely on the two main characters. Their chemistry and life happening around them. Their complicated and tangled emotions and life. Simple random encounters, arranged marriages, fate entwined, socially engineered, etc. Time periods and settings can vary greatly. Anything from modern, medieval, gilded era, dark ages, futuristic, alternate realities, etc. I'm extremely into the chemistry of two characters usually more than a wildly elegant setup.

I write male and female characters and am very comfortable with many personality archtypes on either side. Partner's real life gender doesn't matter to me, we can be friends all the same if you want. I have different OCs I can fit to roleplays, and I'm always happy to create a new one! I will generally never play a canon character myself unless the offer is extremely interesting to me. My characters are always fairly grounded in realism even if they fit a power role or are part of a fantasy world and I'd prefer the same in return.

What if the person that changed you forever never actually forced you to do anything?

I’m looking for a writing partner interested in exploring a dark, slow-burn psychological roleplay centered around obsession, influence, temptation, and the gradual unraveling of a young woman who may not be quite as simple as she first appears.

This doesn’t just follow a girl being corrupted, but rather follows two people who become increasingly entangled with one another, and how much their relationship changes them. She could be the seemingly perfect girl everyone trusts, secretly fascinated by darker romance and obsessive relationships—or someone messier, more impulsive, and already struggling with parts of herself she doesn’t fully understand. He could be a calculated manipulator who recognizes those contradictions almost immediately. Or perhaps he’s simply someone who becomes fascinated by her and discovers, little by little, just how much influence he can have.
