Hii! I haven’t roleplayed in a little bit and was hoping to find just one or two people to write with, since I am trying to be on my phone less.
I’m mainly looking for platonic stories, though I am okay with romance stories too (fxf or fxm) if it’s not the typical: meet and fall in love.
I like realism in the stories, writing about every day sort of people instead of popstars and fantasy heroes.
That’s why, I‘d say most of my plots fall into the categories of slice of life and drama (sometimes combined with historical plots). I love showing character development through mundane things and usually strive for internal conflicts that result in drama and potentially darker themes (though they always need to be communicated in advance). Give me flawed characters!
I enjoy writing multiple characters of the plot calls for it and, as mentioned, prefer platonic plots. Small families navigating through difficult situations, siblings growing up alongside each other, friends coming up with stupid ideas.
If we do go for romance, I usually like starting with a plot where the characters already are a couple.
I like historical settings around 1900 and all the way up to the present day, with the exception that I don’t write stories that revolve around wars.
I also do not write anything NSFW.
Here are my requirements:
You need to be:
- at least 18 y/o.
- able to write 3rd person past tense
- able to write between 3-5 paragraphs
- be able to write NPC‘s and side characters
Here are some vague ideas and settings but I’d love to hear your ideas!:
- A chaotic young mother raising her child
- Chaotic couple going through it
- Something with gas stations at night vibes
- Siblings navigating their way through new life circumstances
- I have a character who’s a mom in the 1950s kind of struggling
- Something horror-y?
