Hey, I'm Alex! Three "fun" facts to get to know me: my hometown almost completely revolves around grapes, I have a 29 gallon aquarium in my room and I own more notebooks than shirts. I have about twelve years roleplay experience and a degree in creative writing. I'm rather rusty though as it has been quite a while since I've been actively writing, so please be patient with me! My response time will vary as I have multiple chronic illnesses that tend to make my days unpredictable. I will always make sure my writing partners are aware if there's going to be an extended time I can't respond. I'm not picky when it comes to reply length as long as I have something my characters can react to. My characters vary greatly in gender, age, race, background, personality, etc. I don't do forced romance. Romance may be a subplot if it feels natural as the roleplay progresses or if the relationship is canon. I request that you don't automatically expect me to play a certain gender as I will choose or create a character I feel that is best suited for the plot. I can write for a single character or two or three.

It's been a very long time since I've last had a decent Harry Potter roleplay, so I'd love to get one or two started. As cliche as it is, I would love to do a long-term years one through seven with OCs roleplay, either one on one or a small group. Or one of each! Preferably either something modern or taking place in the Golden Trio era. I'd also love to do something with professors as well, again either a one on one or small group would work. I may be interested in something to do with canons, but it would need to be an intriguing plot. I've been watching a lot of ocean documentaries, and I'd love to get the chance to write a character who's a marine archaeologist. Our characters can be out on the sea seeking long lost pirate treasure or trying to solve an almost forgotten mystery or anything else that might come to mind. We could even add a fantasy twist if you'd prefer and have them discover some mystical secret in the depths of the ocean. I'm pretty into world-building, so I would love to spend time creating a detail-rich world for us to make our sandbox. There are many options for directions this could go in. Lands filled with castles, mages and fantastical beasts. A futuristic setting where time travel and day trips to the moon are possible. A world covered completely in life-rich waters. And many, many more! Super humans has always been one of my favorite topics to play with. Superheroes and villains are always fun. Or perhaps a world where people with abilities are commonplace and it's not out of ordinary to see your barista ready your coffee while never actually touching your cup or having your professor levitate when he gets frustrated that half the class is on their phones. Or maybe people with super powers are feared and forced into hiding. Or perhaps there's been people with abilities among us all along but it's too dangerous for the world to know so they're often whisked away to boarding school where they're taught to control their powers and are eventually tasked with the job to help keep the secret and handle any incidents of exposure.
