Server Rules

The Roleplay Central Discord server rules, including the 18+ rules and disclaimer, for a safe and welcoming roleplay community.

    No bullying will by tolerated of any kind.

    This includes, but is not limited to: harassment, trolling, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, antisemitism, or xenophobia.

    Avoid discussing sensitive or inflammatory topics.

    This includes, but is not limited to: political ideologies, religious extremism, and social issues.

    Avoid venting or calling out other members.

    We do not allow for attention-seeking behavior or "call out" culture on RPC. Continuous and/or consistent complaining, venting, or whining may result in disciplinary action. If you believe there is reason for concern, please reach out to a staff member directly or create a ticket using #open_a_ticket.

    RPC is primarily a safe for work (SFW) server.

    We allow for age 15+ members and expect all discussion in our open channels to remain considerate of the fact that minors also occupy this space. Topics that contain sex, violence, and/or drugs should be kept to the 18+ channels. We follow US common law regarding age of consent (18 years old).

    Your name, image, profile, status, and server tag must be appropriate.

    As previously stated, we're a 15+ server, so your server appearance should be mindful of the fact that there are minors in the server. They cannot include vulgar language, slurs, political discourse, or NSFW jokes.

    We like uniform server nicknames.

    It may sound silly to you, but it's hard to tag and/or read names with strange fonts, emojis, or text in them. Capitalize the first letter of your name (proper capitalization preferred) and keep your name within a standard alphanumeric alphabet.

    Don't change your name repeatedly over a short period of time.

    It makes it difficult for staff to keep track of things behind the scenes and who our regulars are! This includes changing your name back after the staff has changed it to conform to our rules.

    Lying about your age is a bannable offense.

    Rounding up your age is considered lying; use the age you are in the moment. You can apply for one of our age roles (:18_plus:, :21_plus:, :25_plus:) and gain access to the 18+ sections with this form. Please allow 24-48 hours for processing.

    We follow Discord ToS.

    Just because it's not listed above does not mean it's not a rule. The Discord ToS is the law we all abide by while using this platform and can be located here if you’re uncertain whether or not something is covered.

    Don't be the reason we make a new rule.

    We have the right to adjust these rules as needed. Even if something is not covered explicitly, if it is considered an action that is "best for the server and/or community," we have the right to enact it at our discretion.

18+ Disclaimer

By utilizing our 18+ sections, you agree to the following:

‣ RPC follows US common law regarding age of consent (18+).
‣ RPC is not responsible for any interactions that occur outside of our server.
‣ RPC and its staff are not liable if:
:indent: ‣ You fail to vet your partners' ages before engaging in 18+ content.
:indent: ‣ Your partner falsifies their age.
‣ Per our server rules and Discord ToS: no underage characters in erotic roleplay.

Any mention of underage content (particularly NSFW-based), be it in an advert or an off-site link / kink list is strictly prohibited. Infractions of this nature will result in banishment from the server.

The 18+ channels are a designated space for NSFW-heavy content, extremes, and kinks; that does not mean they cannot also be utilized for advertising to specifically 18+ members.

If you choose to utilize the 18+ channels, please be advised that you are expected to manage your own comfort levels. If you see something you don't like that is not explicitly banned content, either via our rules or Discord ToS, keep scrolling. Everyone has different preferences and interests, and we have to respect that.

We do not mandate trigger warnings in these channels (but you are more than welcome to use them).

18+ Rules

    If you lie about your age or if we suspect you are underage, RPC staff may request photo ID to resolve any discrepancies.

    Misrepresenting your age is a bannable offense. If you cannot verify your age or choose not to, you will either be removed from the server or have the age-related role revoked until you verify.

    What happens in the 18+ channels stays in the 18+ channels.

    If you've moved the conversation out of the general channels, there's typically a reason for that - and that reason is usually that the topic is not a good fit for the rest of the server.

    Badgering and kink-shaming are not permitted.

    We will not "yuck someone's yum," even if we don't like it ourselves. Unless the kink/content is explicitly banned from our server via our rules or Discord ToS, it's allowed here. This is a safe space for people to express themselves.

    Absolutely no solicitation for anything related to "IRL."

    This includes personal photos, sexting, online dating, video chatting, or crossing IC/OOC boundaries. If this occurs or if you feel pressured to share intimate personal details with your partner, please report it to a staff member immediately.

  5. 5

    An 18+ space does not mean we allow nudity, pornography, or illicit images / GIFs.

    There are plenty of other places to be horny on main; RPC isn't one of them.

  6. 6

    The 18+ sections are a privilege, not a right.

    RPC staff members reserve the right to remove posted 18+ content and/or member access from the 18+ sections at their discretion, even if a rule has not been directly violated. We call this the "I see what you did, and that crossed a line" rule.
