Hello all, I'm Lizz, 23, and I'm looking for someone to rp a dragon shifter plot I've cooked up with me!

My prompt is this:
The royal family are known dragon shifters and have been for generations. There are only a handful of other dragon shifters in the world and they are all employed within the capital alongside the royal family. Or so they thought.

One day the royal family is slaughtered by unknown dragon shifters from outside the kingdom's borders, and the prince/ princess, the only one to survive, must escape. Thankfully, my character, Aldrich, comes to the rescue. He, too, is a dragon shifter, taking the form of a large red and black wyvern (his wyvern form is actually a Dreadking Rathalos, but this isn't a Monster Hunter rp so we don't have to acknowledge that). He aids in the heir's escape and the two go into hiding, leaving the heir's kingdom in chaos and confusion.

The heir won't take this lying down of course, it's not long before they begin asking Aldrich for his help in taking back their kingdom. It won't be easy. They'll be hunted by the shifters who killed the royals, and the two may just have to raise an army of shifters of their own.

I'm looking for someone to play as the sole surviving heir! This would be a platonic plot with a lot of combat and blood, and gore and other such mature things. Aldrich will likely take a mentor-like role towards their heir as he teaches them about life outside palace walls, and the heir will likely be wrestling with the fact that there are indeed other shifters like him and his family.

I’m 25 years old and while I’ve always admired the hobby, I only have started trying to get into it just recently. My goals with role-playing are to improve my writing skills. Outside of role-playing, I like visual novels, games, and cooking.

Style

I am new to role-playing so I may be unaware of some of the unspoken rules. My writing may be a little clumsy since even outside of role-playing, I have not done much creative writing in my life. I type in first person, and you can expect typically 2-5 paragraphs. If you are writing way more than me, I am more than happy to mirror. Also, I only play female characters for a heads up!

Preferences

Honestly, I have no preferences in genres! I can list some ideas, but I am more than happy to go along with an idea you have in your head for a plot; in fact, I would even prefer it!

Ideas:

🏰Tragic heavy world-building focused dark fantasy where every year a wolf comes to devour the sun. Sacrifices are made to the gods to prevent it, and one of the characters is chosen. Her childhood friend (or lover) together with her investigate to try to put an end to the curse, only to find the world isn’t what they thought it was.

🌇Modern day rom-com! One of the characters is a goddess of love who has been banished to the human world for failing to keep people together as divorce rates go up. She doesn’t understand love and must fall in love to be accepted back.

🩸Vampires exist amongst us. One day, one of the characters walls in a dark alley and gets bitten by a vampire on the verge of death. Afterwards, the vampire turns out to be a dear friend of the character, but with the rules of infection the character cannot live without their master and must learn about life as a vampire.

Your irl gender doesn't matter, just looking for anyone interested in rping something dark, your OC plunged into an unforgiving world, attempting find strength when all hope seems lost. Only for their world to completely crumble all around them, nothing but a bleak, harrowing fate no matter how they attempt to look at it. (Doesn't have to be exactly as I described here, just an idea of what i'm looking for)

Setting/general idea for the rp:
As mentioned above, I've been wanting to write something similar in setting to The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit, a type of fantasy world we can sort of build up and create together. The main idea being my character someone well-known and feared by all. Soon setting his sights on the kingdom your character resides in, either a prince or whatever you'd like for him to be, my character wanting to bring nothing but death and destruction the world to one day rule over all. Your character a victim of his endeavors.
