Greets. GM4A | 24 y/o | he/him | novella/literate

Looking for (21+) players to GM in my ORIGINAL and UNUSUAL setting.

You know it’s true because I used both bold and italics.

Imagine a world where metaphysics is subject to collective belief and wuxing elemental cycle… and where capitalism has industrialized it all.
Knights wear "transactional" armor, bearing the coat of arms of companies built on the embers of a fallen empire; orthodox sects enforcing the new government's Will of Heaven clash with unorthodox tax evaders and demonic barristers. Meanwhile, common folk suffers under a religious regime or bloodline-spanning debts.

It’s kind of low-mid fantasy, grounded, gritty, wuxia-inspired genre mash set in ~1600s.
Expect mature in tone, possibly NSFW content as well as themes of decay, hope(lessness) and the fantastical warped into mundane.

• Here’s a google doc link with much more info on the world (+on myself +writing sample in tabs)

Setups (more in the doc):

• You are a 'hedge' knight: former paladin of Holy Flame from a now-defunded order. Your estate is in shambles; much of your family’s wealth was 'redistributed' for the needs of many. But they cannot take your arms, devotion (however dubious) and skills. Will you serve the government that has forsaken you, turn to companies, or carve a righteous path of your own?
• You are a member of a sect: one of the few who kept to higher morals, albeit as vigilantes, amid corruption. After a long mission in the wilds, you return to find none of your comrades alive. Banners burned, disciples slain - and your survival was just a lucky oversight. Will you investigate this injustice and pursue vengeance, or try to let go and seek another place in this world?

You’re also very welcome to propose your own idea; it just needs to fit the setting and overall vibe. If unsure, dm me and we'll work something out!
