Hello, SomeoneNew here! Still looking for a long-term writing partner so let me try and put a bit more effort into this ad. First of all- I'm F25, in the CST timezone. I'd prefer someone in a close timezone but my sleep schedule is a bit messed up so it doesn't matter that much. I've been writing for roughly a decade, give or take, and although the length of my replies vary the shortest my replies can be is over the discord character limit. Most importantly to me, is that I will be able to reply at least once a day, but I will likely end up replying as much as my free time allows once I get invested. I would like a writing partner who could match that pace.
As for the idea in mind, it's less of an idea and more of a roleplay I've written with various people over the years. In short, when people begun developing supernatural abilities, it seemed easy enough to stamp down anyone who abused their newfound power. The world was caught off guard, however, and when the number of these gifted people grew, it seemed like things would escalate quickly. Before the worst could occur, a strange compromise was made- a decision to take anyone who developed these abilities and quarantine them in a city. So long as they stayed put, the government would turn a blind eye to anything that happened inside.
As for what happens there, it'd be up to whatever we decide to do. Naturally, this setting is darker in theme and tone. I enjoy exploring characters and their development. Mostly through angst and the like, naturally. So yeah, hope to hear from some of y'all. Thanks for taking the time to read through this!
