I have several ideas, but I'm craving something angsty. Something hard going but with a happy ending. Here are some of my ideas.

A couple about to go through a divorce. They've been falling apart for a while, but they have a child, and they're childhood sweethearts. Their lives are entwined, including their families. The biggest reason for the breakup is the fact that they've been trying for years for baby number 2 with no such luck. That's caused a lot of arguments and distance. Then, just as they're about to sign the divorce, their families remind them what they have as they go on a trip with both sides of the family. And she finds out she's expecting.

They grew up together. Their mothers were best friends, and as they grew up together, they did too. Close as anything. Deep down, as they aged, they fell for each other but never admitted it. Then came a time when they separated for college. He got into a relationship. Now graduated from college, they're starting their adult lives. Of course, every summer they always, along with their families, spend time down at the lake house. Endless adventures and spending time with their best friend await.
