What is RPC?
RPC is a unique concept that was born in 2011 with the vision of creating a user-friendly
database of roleplayers and collaborative storytellers. Although we've evolved since, expanding
our horizons to better serve our user-base with community features and writing advice, we still
have our same core feature: The List.
Our mission is to help writers find like minds that will challenge and inspire them to create
amazing works of art. At RPC, we believe that creative writing is a gift worth exploring no
matter your age or your literacy level. Everyone has a voice, and everyone has a story that
needs told - it's just a matter of finding the right person to help you tell it.
The List
The List is RPC's signature feature: a collection of writers with complete profiles which can be
filtered by genre and other interests.
Although your profile is public, your contact information is kept private and is only viewable
to logged-in members. Members can also enjoy automated matchmaking based on weighted categories,
as well as a separate "Matcher" system which allows you to 'like' and be 'liked' by
other members.
RPGold
The RPGold List is a list of talented writers whose samples have been
vetted by a panel of
anonymous judges on technical ability, characterization, content, and overall atmosphere.
Pending approval, the writer is given a gold star next to their name on The List and given a
special [rpgold] tag on our Discord server.
To apply for the RPGold List, please submit two to three pieces of writing that you feel best
represents your abilities through the link [here].
The Discord
Created in 2017, our Discord server is filled with helpful members always willing to answer your
burning questions, and most importantly, roleplayers looking to go on their next great
adventure.

RP101
RP101 is an upcoming library of articles, resources, and tools to help writers learn and grow
within their craft. We cover a broad range of levels and topics from the introductory basics up
through advanced writing and cater to a variety of platforms and interests.
